Hanoi Smart City
The Hanoi Smart City is a pilot project with a total budget of approximately $1billion, and is structured as a Public Private Partnership (PPP) model in which government, private financial institutions, impact and infrastructure funds are participating.
Unlike a typical bidding system, this project will use an open innovation competition format providing an equal opportunity to all companies and organizations interested.
ARK-i Labs will be responsible for scouting and inviting companies globally to be part of the tech sandbox, while XnTREE will be operating the Tech Sandbox comprised of a mix of start-ups and SMEs by creating a 12 month cohort programme (November 2020 – October 2021).
Smart City
Smart city refers to a city where IT is the main attraction and selling point, but here at XnTREE we take a different approach we believe that a smart city exists and is created to solve problems to accommodate the growing needs of people via ways of urban regeneration and innovation. Cities are ever evolving, similar to people they go through many changes over time.
